Nash developed a strong ceramics program while being part of the orginal group of WCC art instructors. The program continues and the ceramics lab is considered to be the best in the state.

Art Instructor Wes Hall and I designed and painted an 80' x 120' mountain landscape mural for the community of Compton, California, to enhance the visual environment of their high school. As a follow up, we also directed and supervised twelve student murals and a student mosaic mural. We also helped to organize the community art show in which my students took first, second, and third prizes in ceramics for two consecutive years.
